About me

Giulia: a middle-aged woman with long hair and a black beret tilted to the side. Staring a bit ironically at you, arms crossed and hand under chin.

I was hooked on web design since the early days of the Web (mid ’90s). I came there from a background in the humanities, logic, and linguistics. Over the years, I’ve crafted digital experiences for businesses, professionals, and e-commerce sites, always with a focus on optimisation.

My expertise spans multiple areas: CSS, semantic HTML, SEO, UX, accessibility and beyond. I’m especially passionate about how typography shapes the Web, exploring web font choices, CSS properties, and readability.

I work as a consultant and trainer in specialized courses and occasionally take the stage at industry events. I’ve always been drawn to the intersections between disciplines and love switching between theory and hands-on practice.

I live in Italy, in Reggio Emilia, and online.
